Get notified about new messages
A complete, step-by-step guide to turning on Zairoo notifications on your phone or computer — so you never miss a message.

Why is there a step at all?
Zairoo sends notifications the same way WhatsApp and Instagram do — a standard called Web Push. For privacy reasons, every browser and phone requires you to opt in before a website can notify you. Once you allow it, notifications arrive even when Zairoo is closed.
iPhone & iPad (Safari)
Apple has one extra rule on iPhone and iPad: notifications only work for websites that have been added to the Home Screen. This needs iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or newer. It takes about twenty seconds.
-
Open Zairoo in Safari. Go to
zairoo.pages.dev and sign in.
Step 1 — the Share button sits in the middle of Safari's bottom toolbar. -
Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow
pointing up), then scroll the list and choose
“Add to Home Screen”.
Step 2 — choose “Add to Home Screen”. -
Tap “Add” in the top corner. A Zairoo icon appears on
your Home Screen.
Step 3 — the Zairoo icon on your Home Screen. - Open Zairoo from that icon (not from Safari), then open Settings (the gear icon, top right) and tap Enable notifications in the Notifications section.
-
Tap “Allow” when the notification prompt appears.
Step 5 — tap “Allow”.
Android (Chrome)
Android needs no installation — notifications work right in Chrome.
- Open zairoo.pages.dev in Chrome and sign in.
-
Open Settings (the gear icon, top right) and tap
Enable notifications in the Notifications section.
Tap “Enable notifications” in Settings. - Tap Allow in the browser prompt.
Computer (Chrome, Edge, Brave)
- Open zairoo.pages.dev and sign in.
-
Open Settings (the gear icon, top right), click
Enable notifications, then click Allow
in the browser prompt.
Click “Enable notifications”, then “Allow”.
If it still does not work
- iPhone: make sure your iOS is 16.4 or newer (Settings → General → About → Software Version), and that you opened Zairoo from the Home Screen icon, not from Safari.
- Nothing happens when I tap Enable: the site may be blocked in your browser's notification settings. In Chrome, open the padlock/bell icon in the address bar → Notifications → Allow, then reload.
- I said “Block” earlier: a browser will not ask twice. Clear the site's permissions (browser settings → site settings → Notifications) and reload.
- Do Not Disturb / Focus mode will silence notifications — check it is off.
Questions
Will I get notified when Zairoo is closed?
Yes. That is exactly what Web Push does — the notification comes from the server, not from an open tab.
Do I need to do this on every device?
Yes, once per device and per browser.
Does Zairoo read my contacts or track me?
No. A subscription is just an address your browser gives us so the server can deliver a message. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I turn notifications off?
Turn them off in your browser or phone settings at any time — nothing else is needed.
